Science Shops Wales – Knowledge at the service of the community
Not the usual kind of shop, Science Shops are units that carry out FREE or very low cost research with and on behalf of civil society – community groups, charities, clubs, development trusts and other non-governmental organisations. Science Shops Wales helps Welsh community groups and organisations to work with University students, tutors and researchers to carry out collaborative research projects on topics such as the environment, health, social problems, and even history and law. Nid y math arferol o siop! Unedau yw Siopau Gwyddoniaeth sydd yn cynnal ymchwil AM DDIM neu am bris isel iawn gyda, ac ar ran, grwpiau cymunedol lleol. Mae Siopau Gwyddoniaeth yn cynnal prosiectau ar bynciau megis yr amgylchedd, iechyd, problemau cymdeithasol a hyd yn oed hanes a’r gyfraith. Rydym hefyd yn cynhyrchu nifer o bamffledi hawdd eu defnyddio sydd yn trafod rhai o’r pynciau niferus sy’n deillio o’n prosiectau.
